trackslash Preview Terms

Version: 2026-07-18
Last updated: 18 July 2026

These terms apply only to the development preview operated by Bad Bundle Limited at trackslash.com (the Preview). They do not apply to independent installations of the open-source track-slash software.

The Preview is experimental. It is not ready for production or commercial use and must not be relied on as the only record of important information.

1. Operator

The Preview is operated by Bad Bundle Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16035056, with its registered office at Silverstream House, 4th Floor, 45 Fitzroy Street, Fitzrovia, London, United Kingdom, W1T 6EB (Bad Bundle, we, us).

Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, passkeys, sessions, and API tokens, and promptly revoke credentials you believe have been compromised.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that people you add to projects have appropriate access.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Preview to evaluate and help test trackslash. You must not use it for production operations, commercial delivery, safety-critical work, or as the only copy of information you cannot afford to lose.

You must not:

  • use the Preview unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights;
  • upload malware, malicious code, or content intended to harm systems or people;
  • attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or security measures;
  • probe or test the Preview without prior written permission, except for ordinary use of documented functionality;
  • interfere with other users or consume resources in a way that degrades the Preview; or
  • use the Preview to distribute spam, abusive material, or content you do not have the right to use.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Bad Bundle a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and back up that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Preview.

You are responsible for your content and must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Projects configured for public access, and content attached to those projects, may be visible without signing in.

Do not submit regulated, highly sensitive, safety-critical, or irreplaceable information to the Preview.

5. Experimental service and data risk

Features, APIs, MCP tools, migrations, storage behaviour, and access rules may change without notice. The Preview may be slow, unavailable, reset, suspended, or discontinued. Data may be corrupted or lost.

We do not promise backups, restoration, uptime, support, compatibility, or advance notice of changes. Keep your own current copies of important content.

6. Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend, or close an account or project when reasonably necessary to protect the Preview, comply with law, investigate misuse, or enforce these terms. We may discontinue the Preview entirely.

Where reasonably practicable, we will try to give notice before closing an account or discontinuing the Preview, but we do not guarantee notice or an export facility.

7. Open-source software

The source code in the track-slash repository is licensed separately under the MIT License. These Preview Terms govern use of the Bad Bundle-operated Preview; they do not replace or restrict the MIT License for the software itself.

The trackslash name and branding are addressed separately in the repository's Trademark Policy. Independent operators are responsible for their own users, terms, privacy notices, security, and compliance.

8. Disclaimer

The Preview is provided as is and as available for evaluation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bad Bundle excludes implied warranties, conditions, and representations relating to the Preview, including availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and freedom from errors or data loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to those exceptions, Bad Bundle is not liable for loss of data, business, revenue, profits, opportunity, goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Preview.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Preview changes. The version and last-updated date identify the applicable text. If a change materially affects existing users, we may require acceptance of the new version before further use.

10. Governing law

These terms and disputes relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you a mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere.
